The Law of Attraction?
Well today I came across the Law of Attraction from reading the book "The Science of Getting Rich" by Wallace D. Wattles. Personally I think that this entire theory is bogus. I've never tried this, but how can wanting something eventually allow it to come to you? The only way to physically gain something i.e. money is to physically do work. I don't believe in any god or gods or any supernatural thing in the universe, it is all matter, physical matter. My opinion is that the positive thinking and want stressed in the Law of Attraction will help you reach your goals. Having that desire driving you towards your goals is definitely required to be successful. But I think that the whole manifestation thing about wanting something so much that it will come to you is not true. Success=a drive to be the best, and work. What are your thoughts on this matter? And if you can prove my claim wrong then please explain and give me some details that will make it beyond coincidence. Thanks.
I believed deeply in the law of attraction even before I knew what it was... All this time I've had negative experiences and they just came one after another, I'm also a poker player who loses alot so much that I realize that it defines logic... I mean how could someone lose so much get so many bad beats just cause they are in a negative thought pattern., something else had to be working here... Thats when i found out what its name was.. The law of attraction is what I've been experiencing all my life.. To simplify what it is in one sentence its basically like this.. The mind attracts whatever it thinks or dreads of the most. But I do not think the law of attraction can be manipulated that easily, as I've seen many people try to do and most likely fail, what you can do is to make it work for you so its in a more positive way and that is through yoga and diet, or other helpful habits..
